Hold on when you get love...

There are so many weddings I have to share with you. This wedding season so far has been such a joy, for a little sneak peek pop over to my Facebook page which has a good look at things to come. First of all I want to talk about my love affair with hugs.

Oh my word. I love a good hug. When I am shooting a wedding I cannot get enough of them. I love the friends and family giving their loved one a huge squeeze of support when they're excited and nervous. I love the moment after the first kiss in the ceremony when the newly married couple can't stop grinning as they find themselves in the other's arms. I love when the guests pour out of the ceremony and can't wait to give their congratulations and there are more hugs. In my opinion a wedding is all about sharing your happiness, welcoming new people into your life and celebrating the relationships you already have. For me, those hugs really bring all of that home.

Emotional/elated/tender/sweep-you-off-your-feet/dancing/quiet/unexpected/much-waited-for/great-big-bear-style/damned well AWESOME hugs.
