Just a quick little look at today's wedding with the gorgeous Sarah & Chris.
Congratulations to you two! Thanks so much for letting me be part of your day. More photos will follow in a couple of weeks.
Finally, a commemorative souvenir of this weekend's big wedding:

Fashion Preview - AIRR Clothing
Today I have once again been shooting with AIRR Clothing in Wirksworth. We were treated to some beautiful blue skies and the clothes seem to get more gorgeous with every shoot. I was also really delighted to get the chance to work with our models Colin and Charmaine again.

Caught in Love - Rachael and James
So, I frequently get people telling me that they wish they were getting married or engaged so they could have photos taken.
I really love the work I do with wedding clients, from their engagement shoots to the day itself and taking pictures that show them and their personalities. I decided I wanted to have a go at applying what I've learnt from my wedding photography to a different kind of couple shoot. Something for those couples who aren't married, don't want to get married or have been married for years, but who might just enjoy some pictures that catch them and their love at a particular point in time.
So I put out a call for some couples to be guinea pigs for my brand new Caught in Love* shoots and on Sunday I had the pleasure of shooting my first attempt at this with James and Rachael. I was oddly, quite nervous about these pictures as they're two good friends of mine, but I'm really happy with how they turned out. And, most importantly, they are too.
I'm really looking forward to exploring this new venture more and look forward to sharing my next shoot with you!
* Those who know me, know I love music and especially Belle & Sebastian. This name is a nod to 'If You Find Yourself Caught in Love.' Obviously.

Are you in, or do you know of, a band that could do with some new photography? I am looking for new bands to add to my portfolio, so get in touch and maybe I can sort out a free shoot for you too.
Don't forget to take a look at what Pressure Kids do.

Emily and James' Wedding
When I met Emily and James for a consultation and a mini engagement shoot, I couldn't wait to shoot their wedding.
The venue was the gorgeous Cathedral Quarter Hotel in Derby and we'd planned out a little walk around the city centre. Just down the road from the venue we found a bright pink heart spray painted on a wall and it was a great photo opportunity. At the wedding more than one guest who had seen the engagement pictures asked me if I'd sprayed it there for the occasion! It may be the twee-est graffiti I've ever seen but it's still far too gangster an activity for me.
Anyway, enough talk - time for more photos.
A great day and an absolutely adorable couple!
Here's their USB stick of photos ready to be posted:
