Paris in the Springtime - Lovely new prints for sale

Well, I did it! I went to Paris and I took my camera.
It was such wonderful weather and a truly amazing and wonderful place! I could gush on for about a year with clichés about how amazing it is but I'll let my pictures speak for themselves!

Portrait Session Gift Cards now on sale! Perfect for Mother's Day!

Eeee, I do love getting things printed. I finally got round to getting some gift cards for my portrait sessions. Each comes with one of my fine art photographs on one side and a description of the gift on the other which reads:

 "This card entitles you to a one hour portrait session with Hannah Millard Photography, including a USB stick with all the final, edited photographs and a license to print them and share them online. This does not include reasonable travel costs when absolutely necessary. 

You could use this for an individual portrait shoot, promo shots for a band, family portraits or modelling portfolio shots. I shoot on location so the possibilities are endless! If you have any other ideas please let me know. My aim is to help you get the most out of your experience.

Until 19th April 2011 these cards will cost just £35 each, when they will be available at full price for £70. I feel that this price is real value for money. Unlike some portrait session gifts, my price includes digital files of the final, edited files (25+ depending on the shoot) and a license for unlimited printing and sharing online. As I have said, my gift cards are very versatile and great presents for so many occasions.

Engagement - James & Emily

Just a shoot-ette today! Emily and James' wedding is a couple of weeks away at the fabulous Cathedral Quarter Hotel, I can't wait til the wedding, it's going to be amazing!

We went on a little mission to find some good spots to take photos on the day itself and got a few quick snaps on the way. These two are absolultely adorable - like I said, I can't wait til the day!

I'm afraid, dear internet, that I'm not going to be blogging for a few days. I know, you're devastated, right?

Just a quick post sharing some pictures from my engagement shoot with Steve & Rebecca in Darley Park today. It was pretty chilly but so lovely in the sun. I feel like Spring has sprung!

Fashion Photography - Stolen Thunder & Bethany Hill

You may remember the work I did with Stolen Thunder and Kayla Hadlington.

It was great fun and when the girls from Stolen Thunder asked me to do another shoot with them for their Spring/Summer collection, I jumped at the chance! 


When it came to casting a model for the shoot we searched for quite some time before I came across Bethany. I had a good feeling about her from the start and I wasn't at all disappointed when she was in front of the camera.


























Now, I must dash. I have an engagement shoot and a trip to the park this afternoon! Can't wait!

Nicola & Steve

The most terrifying part of my job is after I've edited all the photos and handed over the usb stick to the newly-weds and before they've looked at them and told me what they think. The photos are out of my hands and I panic, what if they don't like them?

It was wonderful! Fun and moving and beautifully presented and once I handed over the photos I could only hope that I had done it justice.

I had an email from Nicola and Steve last night, they wrote
